Krakow, August 25, 2022: Agnieszka Porębska, up-to-date VP of the Talent Marketplace at Talent Alpha, today has become the company’s new CEO. Agnieszka will take over the position from Przemek Berendt who decided to step down but remain with Talent Alpha as a Board Member and investor.
Talent Alpha, just before its 4th anniversary, has finalized its next investment round. It was decided that the company will break even based mainly on the growth of the talent marketplace business which developed exceptionally quick during the last 2 years.
“The natural intuition of a parent is to keep guiding their child toward valuable life lessons at all stages of development and growth. But a good parent also knows when to step back and let their child spread its wings. For my proverbial child, Talent Alpha, to spread its wings, it needs the parenting of someone with strong customer service focus.” – Przemek said.
“I’m not taking over a startup, but rather an already operating company. For Przemek to be leaving the company in such a healthy state it a testament to his dedication. Talent Alpha has proved to be a great solution for international companies in urgent need of skilled tech talent. Together with over 700 small & medium IT services companies who are part of our platform, we’ve created one of the biggest tech ecosystems in the world. Our vendors operate in 42 countries, and together, we offer the services of 50,000 IT specialists. In times of scarce tech talent, we have proven to provide our customers with IT specialists, as well as the support of whole tech teams, quicker than in any other product on the market. Achieving all of this was possible only with the amazing work of the entire Talent Alpha team. I’m honoured to take the lead work on the company’s further growth. My main task will be to secure ongoing stable development of the company and to face any challenges placed before us in the current volatile market.”– Agnieszka said.
Talent Alpha has a long track record of successful IT service and staffing projects with such clients as ABB, Bitdefender, Decathlon, Fujitsu, Infosys, Novartis, and many others. In 2019 the company has received a $5M investment which it used to create the innovative, AI/ML-supported talent platform and fast-tracked its international expansion. Talent Alpha is also the winner of the European edition of the New Ventures Startup Competition of Harvard Business School, Grand Prix at the UNLEASH World Conference in Paris, Top 50 Startups at TechCrunch Disrupt, Outsourcing Stars – Most Innovative Business Solution, and Startup Innovation Competition at SSOW Europe.
